Federal Housing Tax Credit

President Obama signed the Stimulus Bill into law earlier this week. It contained an $8,000 tax credit for all new home buyers purchasing a home from January 1, 2009 through November 30, 2009. Unlike the previously enacted tax credit, it does not have to be repaid.

We are confident that this tax credit will motivate first-time buyers to buy now.
